GroupWise Client Issue
Customer sent me the following email: Kelly, myself and Liz were all receiving numerous junk emails a few months back. To alleviate the problem, I did the following. For Liz and me, I deleted our NDS and Groupwise accounts (akeck, lbraden) and created new accounts (ajarecki, ebraden). No problems here. For Kelly, I left her old NDS and Groupwise account (kmangene) and created an external account for Groupwise (mangenek). After our discussion on Friday, I checked everyone's mailbox size and found that the 'kmangene' account had loads of emails. I had forgotten to d...

We are currently running Groupwise on a Novell 6.5 server with SP6 installed. We have 3 remote campuses that are having issues with the client and opening email. The clients are version 6.5 and 7 and when opening the client it sometimes takes up to a min to open. If it does not open we have to end the task and then launch the client a 2nd time and it will then open. When opening and email message the hour glass will sit at times up to 10-15 min before the email will open. If the message does not open we have to end the grpwise.exe process and then open Groupwise again and the m...

Groupwise Client For Mac Windows 10

Apart from enriched functionality that is given by Novell GroupWise, it has a limitation which is its complex nature. Due to this complex nature of interface, user wants to migrate towards simplified email clients like MS Outlook, Linux Server etc. Such switching between email clients is possible only through transformation of data format.

Groupwise Client For Windows 10

Migration to Linux: GroupWise Server Migration Utility is used to move all available components of email system in to Linux server easily. It also works on policy of ‘zero level of error’ with intact output data.

Groupwise 2014 Client Windows 10

Migration to Outlook: In GroupWise, data is represented by .GWI extension, whereas Outlook uses .PST extension. So, to start work with MS Outlook application, you need to convert existing database files of Novell GroupWise in to PST file format. After successful conversion in PST file, it can be imported in to Outlook through manual steps.
